New T-SQL Features in SQL Server 2008 and 2012

While SQL Server 2012 (Code name Denali) is almost here, many shops are just now upgrading to SQL 2008.There are a host of powerful new T-SQL features available to the informed developer. Go beyond Entity Framework and SELECT/INSERT/UPDATE/DELETE and learn all that T-SQL can do to help you organize and present your application data. Topics include Merge, Grouping Sets, Sequences, Offset/Fetch, Apply, Merge, Change Tracking, DateTime2, and more.
Robert McCauley has several years experience designing and building database applications. He is currently a senior software engineer developing a SQL-Server driven backup service for Autonomy, Inc.
